Located at City Hall at 1103 South Columbus, the Administrative Department consists of the positions of City Administrator, Clerk-Treasurer, Finance Administrative Assistant III and Finance Administrative Assistant II.
The City Administrator’s role is to provide day-to-day oversight of the operations and activities of the city. In addition, the position is responsible for coordinating economic and tourism development, intergovernmental and outside consultants’ agreements and contracts. Community development and planning are also included in the responsibilities of this office.
The Clerk-Treasurer is in charge of all accounting and financial functions of the City. Maintenance of the files and records of the City as well as maintaining the records of the City Council meetings are included in the duties of this office. The Clerk-Treasurer also oversees the utility billing, cash receiving and billing inquiries for the Water/Sewer Department.
