Answers:

1. How does my water billing system work?
Water bills go out on the 5th of every month. The billing period is from the 15th to the 15th a month behind (i.e. August 15th-September 15th is billed on October 5th).
2. How do I contact Animal Control?
Contact Animal Control through the Police Department at 509-773-3780.
3. How can I reach the swimming pool?
Central Klickitat Parks and Recreation District operates the swimming pool and the number is 509-773-0506.
4. Is there a senior discount?
Seniors may apply for a senior discount starting February 1st - April 15th of each year at the Klickitat County Senior Services located at 115 W Court St. It is based on income and must be renewed each year.
5. Do you have a drop box for after hours?
The after hours drop box is a secure red box located on the left by the exit from the parking lot at City Hall.
6. When are the council meetings?
Council meetings are every 1st and 3rd Monday in Council Chambers at City Hall.
7. Where is City Hall located?
City Hall is located at 1103 S. Columbus Ave.
8. What are the business hours for City Hall?
Business hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 5 PM and City Hall is open through the lunch hour.
9. Can you take debit or credit cards for payment of water bills?
The City is able to take Visa/Mastercard debit and/or credit card payments for utility bills over the phone and in person at City Hall.
10. When are dog licenses due?
Dog licenses are renewed January 1 of each year and must be renewed before the end of March to avoid the penalty.
